About Us
My name is Amanda, and I was born and raised in Tennessee, but now live in Alabama.

My husband and I have been married for 4 years and have been blessed with 2 children. Though I enjoy every moment with my family, you won't find me sitting for too long. There is always something to do!

I love to cook and bake, learning most of what I know from my Mom. I also enjoy sewing and interior design. If I could be anywhere, it would be with my family on the water; whether we are boating, water skiing, or drinking coffee by the lake.

Can't wait to share more with you!
My name is Annie, and I was born and raised in Indiana and have spent a majority of my life here.

I have been married to my husband for ten years and we have been blessed with six beautiful children. I am very blessed to get to stay at home with them. Which makes me life very interesting but I wouldn't trade it.

I  look forward to sharing  bits of my life with you.
My name is Mary Kate and I grew up on a farm in Indiana. My mother is an excellent cook and seamstress and it is she that instilled in me an appreciation for good food and a well kept home, and also made known the importance of faith, hard work and humility. I try to incorporate all of these into my daily life, but I'm still a work in progress!

Cooking, photography and gardening are all things I enjoy and hope to gain more experience in. I also love to travel (I plan to visit every U.S. state and as many National Parks as I can!) and listen to good music. Honored to contribute what I can to this blog with women I am proud to call my cousins.
My name is Rachel  and I haven't had the most typical life--living in Missouri, England, Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, and Texas, and traveling often. Although this ever changing life was inspiring and adventurous, I was always drawn to the farm-life. Every summer or over holidays, I was excited to visit my family in a small town in Indiana. There I was introduced to the simple lifestyle I dream to live.

My hobbies include baking and cooking, learning to sew, riding horses, gardening, reading, learning, and spending time with those I love. Nothing soothes a long day for me like listening to some classic country and bluegrass.

My name is Rachel, and I was born and raised in Virginia. I just moved back to my home state after living abroad in Athens, Greece and prior to that several years in Miami, Florida.

I've been married to my husband for five years and we've had the privilege of traveling the world together. We recently settled down in Virginia and built our first house. As a new home owner, I've been enjoying interior decorating and shopping on a budget. I also love a good DIY project using materials I already own. I credit my parents for my creative side. In my down time you can find me crafting in my studio, baking up a storm, or on the road to our next destination!

I'm looking forward to sharing some inspiration for home design and organization, fun DIY projects, and travel tips!
Grandma Joanne is our inspiration--a woman who values faith, family, her country, and love. A woman who serves her family by cooking, sewing, working hard, and being a good Christian woman. She somehow was able to do it all--without ever complaining.

A Classic American Woman is how we would describe Grandma Joanne. Through this website, we hope you become inspired to go back to those classic trades, chores, to get outside, and to remember to talk with and thank God along the way. We will be learning along with you.
