Part 1- Winner!

Thanks for all of your votes! The winning recipe was the Chicken Salad with Tarragon-Dijon Dressing! I hadn't realized but the Chicken Salad recipe from The Southern Lady magazine, also had a Basil-Parmesan Roll recipe to go along with it. So in this first part I will show you how to make the rolls. As I made this, I was brought back to memories of baking bread with Grandma Golden - it was through her teaching and patience with me that I've come to love baking bread. I think she'd love these rolls as much as I have (they are delicious)!

Enjoy & thanks again for voting!

Basil-Parmesan Rolls

From Southern Lady Magazine

Here is what I bought to prepare the rolls (the Pillsbury box comes with yeast):

Once all of the ingredients are mixed together, my favorite part is next! Kneading the bread!

After kneading for 5-10 minutes, place into a bowl and cover for another 5 minutes. The dough will rise.

5 minutes later...

Roll the risen dough into 12 ball shapes...

This time you will cover the rolls, for 30 minutes!

After 30 minutes, add the salt and Parmesan cheese on top!

After 16 minutes of baking at 350 degrees the rolls are done!

These rolls taste as great as they look! The Parmesan cheese and basil go together wonderfully. Not only do they taste good, but the fresh smell of bread will make you feel as though you are at a bakery... and very hungry.

Now head to part 2 to see how to make the Chicken Salad!
